I saw Avatar last week, (I really dug the glasses) just eager to sit back to really get into this movie, I knew that the story was predictable, military, environment, white man reeking havoc on the natives, but I didn’t care. just wanted to see the animation.
For the most part I really liked the seamlessness of the real life and animation, close ups were great, when the jungle adventure started, with the floating mountains the landscapes,the natives running, jumping and flying with their reptilian bird things, it all seamed a bit familiar then I remembered this painting I did about 2001 called “Beware the Lion” “hum”.. “I’m just saying”
